Beginning as a hot dog cart in New York City, Shake Shack has expanded to 500 locations globally and is still growing **What You'll Do**: - Prepare and serve beverages according to recipe specifications and guest preferences. - Interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations and taking orders promptly and accurately. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience. - Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory. - Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional service to guests. - Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and laws, including checking identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels. **What You'll Need**: - Previous experience as a bartender. - 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant - Expertise in liquors and classic cocktails - Knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink mixing techniques, and beverage service standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. - Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Certification in responsible alcohol service (Smart Serve) is required. - Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
