Field Support Analyst

Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a position open in Montreal. The Field Support Analyst will provide support to end users on a diversity of issues. The incumbent will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They must display a strong work ethic, take ownership, and have the ability to work with mínimal supervision. In addition, they must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

**Responsibilities**:
- With high level direction, performs tasks in support of IT projects within estimated time and in accordance with acceptable quality measurements
- Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the assigned technical environment, and working knowledge of platforms and/or networks and productivity tools.
- Installs, configures, and supports hardware and software that make up the operations architecture. May own support issues and manages small to medium support projects, and may provide direction to other support analysts
- Responsible for resolution of complex technical support issues (workstation, software and./or security)
- May act as the liaison into Information Technology second and third level support groups to assist in expediting the support process.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
- Maintain and update records on hardware, software, repairs, warranties, etc.
- Support the installation, configuration, and tests workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components. (i.e. desktops, laptops, RF guns, win10 tablets, scan guns, printers etc.)
- Repair workstation hardware and/or arrange for third-party repairs. Evaluate equipment for upgrade vs. replacement
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining printers and other office equipment
- Service desk role - provide second and third-level trouble-shooting assistance with supported software and hardware issues directly or over the phone for remote locations in Canada.
**Qualifications**:
- MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) credentials preferred.
- Microsoft Active Directory experience
- Microsoft Productivity Tools (i.e., O365)
- Security and Risk assessment certification an asset (i.e. CompTIA Security+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP))
- Must be able to communicate and interact well with all levels of business (warehouse, CXP, Finance, Sales and Management)
- Fluent English is a MUST, French is an asset
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in desktop support, security, powershell scripting, networking and/or hardware and software support
