Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a leading Telecommunications Construction company servicing customers in Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, and experienced Fiber Optic Splicing Project Manager to join our growing business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage Fiber Splicing crews, staffing, overseeing training, scheduling daily assignments, and following up to ensure daily work summaries are completed and submitted.
- Ensure all critical Customer and Network in service dates are met to maintain positive customer relations.
- Liaise with the Customer to tender all required projects, coordinate with the administration team to ensure all field locates, customer required tickets, and purchase orders have been submitted and received.
- Manage timelines for equipment/material ordering to ensure items are available when required.
- Complete site inspections to ensure customer standards are being adhered to and ensure customer satisfaction with all work performed on and/or near their premises.
- Responsible for final engineered as-build drawings and other required documentation to invoice the customer.
- Participate in assigned health and safety training and work in collaboration with Operations and other Project Managers to follow and implement all workplace safety policies and procedures.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years Fiber Optic Knowledge required. Hands-on experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer working in the telecommunications field with outside of plant experience would be an asset.
- Demonstrates skills in leadership, team building, and supervision/management of 10-20 employees across multiple projects per day.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Computer efficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Drive.
- A valid Ontario G license (or equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Knowledge of equipment calibration and testing and the ability to understand and interpret engineered drawings (civil and building) would be an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
