**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Business Manager and working in collaboration with the Team Leader, this position provides support in scheduling, staffing, and payroll for assigned units. Completes schedule entry, daily flow sheets, payroll reports, and updates/corrects as required. Maintains unit staffing consoles. Liaises with Charge Nurse, Health Service Manager, and Admins with regards to staffing levels. Runs additional reports as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 plus one year post-secondary business, secretarial, or office management diploma
- Two years secretarial or general clerical experience
- Experience in a health-related field preferred
- Experience with multi discipline staff scheduling and scheduling software
- Demonstrated self-starter and problem solver
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently
- 40-60 WPM keyboarding
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of word-processing and spread sheet capabilities
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Programs
- Must be knowledgeable about collective agreements and human resource policies
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Experience with Time Capture an asset
- Experience with Kronos an asset
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
- Ability to effectively manage a time-sensitive workload
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours of Work**:
Long Assignment, Full Time (100%) Position; 70 hours bi-weekly

Approximately 2 Years

**Salary Information**:
$21.73 - $24.31 hourly
