**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate various types of industrial sewing and serging machinery used in the garment creation process.
- Perform routine and basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety regulations.
- Be efficient at removing, replacing, and returning bobbin, setting thread in stand, and re-threading machine.
- Changing needles as required, in a quick and safe manner to ensure production continues to flow.

**Skills**
- Experience in operating 1 or more Industrial sewing machines and/or sergers is a must.
- Strong garment manufacturing skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to facilitate collaboration with coworkers and supervisors - with the ability to spot and call out issues with products being produced, as soon as you see it.
- Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a safe working environment.

Pay: $15.70-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- garment manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- industrial sewing or serging : 2 years (required)
