Ottawa, Canada Signal 88 Security Full time

Basic duties include protecting a site in a fixed location. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor and report any security threats on-site through the chain of command;
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to guard against theft, vandalism, trespassing, and fire;
- Enforce regulations of the establishment to maintain order and resolve conflicts;
- Ensure that establishment safety and emergency procedures are followed;
- Respond to fire alarms, threats, and emergencies in a timely manner;
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures and site protocols; Write daily DOR shift reports and incident reports.
- Key requirements Minimum 6 months - 1 year of security experience;
Must hold a valid security guard license issued by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Correctional Services;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- Driving: 3 years (preferred)
- Security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
- G Drivers Licence (preferred)
- Clean Driver's Abstract (preferred)
