**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Casual work 5 hours per week, Respite Care for demetia patient.
- Build lasting relationships with your clients through social interaction and personalized care.
- Assist with personal care activities, including showering, toileting, dressing, medications, and more.
- Engage clients in enriching activities inside and outside the home.
- Be able to help prepare nutritious meals that support the clients well-being.
- Run errands, accompany clients to appointments, and ensure their safety during outings.
- Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
- Uphold our values of open communication, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
- Follow all Trusted Hands Policies and Procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Certified Health Care Aide and registration in the Alberta HCA Directory.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting clients.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, especially seniors.
- Must Pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Preferred: Dementia care training, Early Childhood Educator certification, and experience with disabilities or developmental delays.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $21.00-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week

**Experience**:
- Caregiving: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
