**Job Title**
Apprentice Carpenter

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist Journeyperson Carpenters in constructing and installing concrete formworks.
- Use power tools and hand tools under supervision to complete carpentry tasks safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials following project specifications and guidance.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics with support from senior team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools as needed on job sites.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks under supervision.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines and objectives.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Enrollment in or eligibility for a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program.
- Basic understanding of carpentry tools, techniques, and construction practices.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a hands-on construction environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following safety protocols.

**Job Location**
This position is based in **Edmonton, Alberta**.

Pay: $18.24-$34.64 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
