The Lead Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of advanced, small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems quickly as they arise.
- Ensuring equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
- Collaborating and working closely with the Manager of Event Technology.
- Providing excellent service and striving to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
- Leading, mentoring and coaching other Technicians on ENCORE's Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
- Meeting with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly.
- Monitoring events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
- Understanding the technical aspects of the job and demonstrating advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
- Anticipating equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
- Using the equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- High school diploma required, associate degree is preferred.
- 2 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
- 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience is required in hotel industry.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a part-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
