**Title: Assistant Warehouse Lead**

Job Status: $17.00-$203.00 hourly for 35 - 45 hours per week (Evenings or weekends may be required).

Medical/ Dental benefits and RRSP matching offered after 3 months.

**Reports To: Warehouse Lead**
Job Description: Assist warehouse lead in the leadership of warehouse staff while accomplishing necessary tasks to create an efficient and effective work environment.

**Key responsibilities including but not limited to**:

- Daily/ weekly inspections of equipment
- Open and close warehouse at start and end of shift
- Adhere to, and hold staff to strict safety policy and standards
- Complete tasks with efficiency and high standards.
- Give direction for up to 15 staff
- Load/ unload and give direction to trucks backing in to warehouse
- Safely operate forklift
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and yard

**Requirements**:

- Forklift experience an asset
- Must be capable of heavy lifting
- Ability to work longer hours or weekends if needed
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must provide own transportation to warehouse (own vehicle is an asset)
