Provincial Wage Enhancement Grant (WEG) is included in the hourly rate when qualified and available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrating strong support and commitment to the mission and core values of the Centre.
- Understanding CCEYA.
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen and ELECT.
- Providing high quality care to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of individuals and groups of children, in line with the Centre's program philosophy.
- Demonstrating ability to work with mix age group setting.
- Planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs for individuals and groups of children in conjunction with other staff.
- Documenting and assessing children's development.
- Building and maintaining close relationships with parents/guardians of the children in the Centre, through constant communication, to meet the needs of individual families.
- Working in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of the Centre supplies and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or equivalency preferred
- Valid Standard Level CPR and First Aid
- Valid Criminal and Vulnerable Reference Checks conducted within the last 6 months
- Up to date Immunization record
- TB test result
- Minimum one year working experience in licensed child care centre preferred
- Resume and 2 references
- Fluency in French as an asset
- Respect, collaborate and support colleagues, developing positive channels of communication to ensure a smooth running centre.
- Contribute toward a healthy team environment.
