**Our client is a large, global brand and they developed a revolutionary cloud-native VRAN/OSS telecom platform and are building out their technical team in Canada/US.**:
**They are currently looking to bring on a **Principle Member of Technical Staff to work on solutions for Canada's top telco carriers.**:
**Position Type**:Member of 4G/5G RAN Layer3 development team.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:

- Participate in building a 4G/5G RAN product.
- Play a significant role in Design, Develop and supporting a carrier grade product.
- Develop new Layer3 features, Customer specific enhancements.
- Participate in customer discussions.
- Resolving the field/QA issues.

**Job Requirements**:

- Excellent understanding and insight in 4G or 5G specification RAN Layer3.
- Experience with 4G or 5G Layer3 protocol stack (RRC, S1-AP, X2-AP, NR-CUCP, NR-CUUP) development.
- Experience with 4G or 5G data plane GTP-U, PDCP.
- Experience with algorithms - Admission Control, Load Balancing, Handover Algorithms, SON, RRM.
- Strong Development skills in C/C++ programming.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Working experience with Mono/Microlitic containerized platforms is a plus.

**Education and Experience**:

- Master of Science degree or above - Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering is desirable.
