Personal Support Worker Program Instructor

**Location**: Dalwin College, Markham Campus (In-Person)

We are seeking a **qualified and motivated Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program Instructor** to join our academic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of personal support workers through dynamic, hands-on instruction and mentorship.

**Work Schedule**:

- **Monday to Friday**:

- **Day Classes: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM (on-campus)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that integrate theory and practical training.
- Develop and update instructional materials and curriculum to reflect current industry standards.
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical placements, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
- Evaluate student performance with fairness and consistency through tests, assignments, and observations.
- Support the administrative functions of the college to enhance the student experience.
- Participate in program activities and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Uphold Dalwin College’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you must:

- Be a **Registered Nurse (RN)** or **Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)** with current registration and **NO practice restrictions **with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Have a **degree or diploma** in a relevant discipline.
- Possess a minimum of **2 years of relevant clinical experience** in a Canadian healthcare setting (preferably long-term care, community care, or chronic care).
- Demonstrate experience in **teaching, coaching, or training**, preferably with adult learners.
- Hold (or be in the process of completing) a credential in adult education from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Meet the instructor qualification standards as per the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
