**GREATER SUDBURY POLICE SERVICE**
**ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT SUMMER STUDENT**

40 Hours Per Week
**For approximately 15 weeks starting May 12th 2025**
**$17.20 per hour**

The Administrative unit Summer Student will be working with our Service’s Administration Branch to assist with event planning and various administrative tasks.

**Duties**:

- Planning and coordinating various community events.
- Administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, preparing information packages, mail collection and organizing supplies for events.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Full G driver’s license is an asset.

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated research abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation and/or presentation skills.
- Proven organizational, time management and motivational skills.
- Ability to organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain accuracy with a large volume of work.
- Demonstrated analytical observation, thinking and problem solving skills.
