The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance with established standards and regulations. This position involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and implementing quality control procedures to maintain high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect samples from each production line.
- Perform package integrity checks to ensure product quality.
- Place samples in dissolving chemicals for analysis.
- Monitor and neutralize samples as required.
- Verify that filler parameters are correct and ensure completion of checklists.
- Conduct inspections to assess package integrity and overall product quality.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), promptly addressing any deviations in coordination with supervisors.
- Adhere to all rules and policies regarding health, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, and company requirements.
- Comply with the Company's Integrated Management Systems, including areas such as production, quality, food safety, and GMP.
- Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

- Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Must be a quick learner with exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational, analytical, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.
- Exhibits good interpersonal skills and effective communication with individuals at all levels of management.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and efficiently managing time.
- Possesses excellent leadership, team-building, and management skills to foster and mentor staff.

**Salary**: $18.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M8V 3L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- 12 - 18 months of Quality Technician (required)

Shift availability:

- Overnight Shift (required)
- Day Shift (required)
