**Purpose**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics & Strategic Planning, the Manager, Analytics & Reporting is accountable for the development, implementation, and ongoing data analytics support of solutions that improve decision-making processes for Operations & Corporate Services. This position is key in cultivating and leveraging the accuracy, quality, and decision-usefulness of the data available to influence critical processes within Operations & Corporate Services.

This role involves developing important management reporting structures to aide senior leadership in making informed business decisions. The incumbent is required to work closely with peers and leadership as well as directly with core operating units and corporate services partners.

The Manager, Analytics & Reporting, is also responsible for the execution of mechanisms by which Operations & Corporate Services records and monitors relevant measures, metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs) and Operational Performance Commitments (OPCs) for all functional units.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
- Supporting the Senior Manager, Analytics & Strategic Planning on ongoing programs, projects, and ad-hoc initiatives to balance constantly changing (and occasionally conflicting) priorities to meet timelines and achieve milestones
- Perform complex data analysis and engage with multiple levels of stakeholders to design, develop, and operationalize KPIs/KRIs/OPCs that support the tactical and strategic needs of our diverse business partners
- Lead/facilitate sessions with technical/non-technical stakeholders to support the design and implementation of analytics solutions
- Maintain, expand, and deliver portfolio of executive reporting to communicate operational successes and challenges with senior leadership
- Collaborates with partners and stakeholders to consolidate, streamline, and improve existing reports to new standards, migrate static reports to interactive dashboards, and to eliminate legacy reports
- Collaborate with analytics peers and data infrastructure groups across the Bank on data initiatives such as data pipeline optimization, platform migration, new data source ingestion, and more
- Utilizes advanced analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships among large disparate datasets to allow insights into the impact of volumes on productivity to better understand risk environments
- Maintain expert knowledge of all primary data sources for the business unit’s data and utilize these data source for reporting purposes effectively
- Working with the Senior Manager, Analytics & Strategic Planning to prepare recommendations for senior leadership by addressing relevant issues/trending derived from analytics exercises
- Takes an ongoing interest in the field of data analytics and identifies key opportunities to improve operations and internal business partner satisfaction
- Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team.

**Education / Experience / Skills and Requirements**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business analytics, management, accounting, engineering, mathematics, statistics, information technology, computer science, finance, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and overall data management - preferably in financial services or technology companies
- Advanced proficiencies in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Significant experience in metrics development, dashboarding, and implementation of self-service analytics tools
- Expert knowledge of ETL methodologies, data modelling and reporting automation
- Experience working with SQL would be an asset
- Significant experience in the business intelligence lifecycle including the design, development, QA, deployment, maintenance/support stages
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to demonstrate ability to interpret and disseminate layers of complex data into cohesive stories, and present findings to senior leadership to inform decision-making
- Strong in project management, requirements gathering, and strategic communications
- Ability to manage initiatives concurrently, and to ensure project tasks result in marked progress toward achieving business goals
- Excellent ability to manage relationships and communication with business line partners
