**JOB SUMMARY**:
As part of the Coordination Services Team, the IT/Project coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and IT Integrators to maintain our information technology systems, networks and organize all types of IT projects. You will carry out both technical and administrative tasks/services to ensure functionality and efficiency of our IT landscape and projects (i.e. infrastructure, system enhancements and deployments, telecom systems/networks, ad-hoc catalogue requests and champion process improvements). You will execute various coordinating tasks/services, like schedule and risk management, maintaining and validating project documentation, monitoring project and implementation plans, schedules, participating in stakeholder meetings and ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, be critical a thinker and problem-solver with great attention to detail.
**SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE**
Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and manage projects throughout the lifecycle of a task Action-oriented for challenging concepts and new assignments Proven ability to address problems associated with bottlenecks & constraints and prioritize items given conflicting requests and limited resources Ability to learn new concepts quickly, easily make connections among previously unrelated ideas and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks Knowledgeable with computer system concepts, i.e. servers, storage, database, middleware, and networking High level of computer competency and associated software (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required, JIRA, or similar project management tools (Visio, Service Now ). Microsoft Project experience desired. Ability to regularly exercise judgement and discretion in order to manage assignments Ability to problem solve and demonstrate influencing skills Ability to organize and prioritize coordination of multiple assignments Ability to set priorities and adapt to changing situations quickly Clear communication skills (written/verbal) that can be tailored to different audiences and strong meeting facilitation skills Proven experience in creating, managing, and motivating a project team Leadership capabilities to effectively hold work owners accountable Proven ability build and manage constructive relationships across the organization to promote project success, identify communication opportunities, foster collaboration and mutual support and cross-functional thinking
