Health Care Aide

**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist. **Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their dignity and respect.
- Medications reminders as prescribed and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and individual preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support patients with dementia or hospice care by offering emotional support and companionship.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans effectively.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to help patients move or reposition comfortably.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and meal preparation.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring dementia care is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a healthy living environment.
- Physical capability to engage in heavy lifting and assist patients as needed.
