**JOB SUMMARY**:
As a valued member of the team, the Unregulated Care Provider demonstrates a commitment to resident safety by providing quality care in accordance with the organization’s vision and mission. The Unregulated Care Provider is accountable to the Director of Wellness for the provision of care services, dispensing medication, documentation, and support with activities of daily living as assigned, utilizing customer service principles that strive to always provide exceptional service. The Unregulated Care Provider is required to perform their duties in a manner consistent with the core values, ensure resident safety, and demonstrate customer service excellence.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. The UCP is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe organized manner by law and in accordance with prevailing practices as set out by the pharmacy.

2. Reviews, reads, documents and communicates pertinent information about residents.

3. Receives medication updates.

4. Administers/assists/observes medications and treatments for each resident using the medication administration record (MAR).

5. Medications are passed according to times as directed by the residence and/or physician’s order.

6. Documents and initials as medications are given; appropriate documentation is completed for refusal or missed doses.

7. Maintains confidentiality of all resident information including resident medication among other residents.

8. Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Wellness.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.

Current CPR training recommended.

Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process.

Effective verbal and written English communication skills required.

Meets the criteria as outlined in the Levante Living Vaccination Policy.

**EDUCATION**:
Unregulated Care Provider Certification.

**LOCATION: Centennial Park Place**

**POSITION: Casual Daytime/Evening UCP**

**WAGE: $21.86/hr.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
