About the Strategy and Business Planning team:
Role Overview:
As an Co-Op Analyst, you will assist with the analysis and execution of key projects. You must have a strong interest in finance and/or consulting and possess the ability to think strategically, complete complex analysis, and work well within a team setting. You will have the unique opportunity to learn about the inner workings of PC Financial and support projects covering a wide range of projects and business initiatives. The Co-Op Analyst will report to a Manager in the Strategy and Business Planning team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and evaluation of strategic plans and projects for the operating segments, including analysis, research, and preparation of presentations
- Analyze and synthesize data and information from various internal and external sources, including financial statements and market reports
- Develop components of presentations for Senior Executives and the Board of Directors
- Keep up to date with relevant competitor news and industry trends
- Assist team members and others on ad-hoc initiatives while balancing daily priorities
- Interact effectively with internal team members, leaders from the operating segments and other key stakeholders
- Given the confidentiality of the work and information, uphold very high standards of compliance and confidentiality

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2.5 years completed (minimum of one internship completed) in an undergraduate business, finance, economics, or other relevant program with an interest in strategy, consulting, operations, or finance
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to conduct quantitative analysis and support presentations for senior executives
- Effective and concise written and oral communication skills
- Confidence and maturity to interact and collaborate with team members and business leaders
- Polished demeanor and a high degree of professionalism
- Effective time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated to produce quality work with mínimal supervision

Our Student Co-Op Program:
Our Student Program provides students with a high-quality, multi-layered learning experience so that they gain an excellent high-level knowledge of PC Financial. Students will work as part of a team within one of our departments and gain exposure and learning opportunities to better understand where they would like to start their future careers.

Throughout the work term, students will participate in several exciting events, including department information sessions, coffee chats with senior leaders, company-wide culture events, quarterly Town Halls, and skill-building workshops.
