Security Systems Analyst

Overview:
A structured Security Systems Analyst is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino. The primary purpose of the Security Systems Technician is to ensure that all physical security devices are patched and in working order.
Reporting to the Director of Surveillance, the Security Systems Analyst works with a group of Surveillance staff who monitor the premises using electronic surveillance equipment and will obtain feedback from all staff on the working condition of the physical security devices (Cameras, Doors, Alarms, etc) to ensure all devices are in working order or repaired to ensure it does not affect facility operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Knowledge of camera and alarm reporting requirements within AGLC Regulated Casinos
- Ability to complete regular patching on all servers and devices
- Complete documentation on all devices and ensure it is always up to date
- Ensure all devices are enabled for web monitoring
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct defective devices as required
- Maintain appropriate documentation as required by company policy
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least two years recent experience working as a System Analyst on large security system
- Experience with multicast routes, active directory and Directory Servers within a large Security System is required
- Must have valid Genetec Security Center Technical Certifications
- Valid DMP Certification required
- Experience using Assa Abloy system platforms would be an asset
- Bachelor Degree in IP Networking would be an asset
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP would be an asset
- Working knowledge of all device manufactures and how to upgrade software to common devices
- LAN/Networking experience for large security systems
- Must be able to meet deadlines while under stressful timelines
- Able to work all shifts including overnights when required
- Must be able to pass criminal record checks and AGLC Screening (if required)
- Must be able to successful complete key personnel with the AGLC (if required)
The incumbent must be able to work in a fast paced, highly demanding office environment. This position is to report to work five (5) day per week and if required, may be instructed to work additional time due to any special events that may be occurring at River Cree Resort & Casino.
