Nanny/babysitter

We are seeking a nanny for a family with two children located in Sun Peaks, BC.
Both live-in and live-out arrangements are available.
**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness in play areas, kitchens, and other spaces used by the children.
- Assist with homework and educational activities to foster a love of learning.
- Provide care for children with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met with compassion and understanding.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise.
- Organize playdates and outings to encourage social interaction among peers.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience caring for children in a babysitting or nanny role is preferred.
- Strong skills in educating children through fun and engaging activities.
- Ability to cook healthy meals and manage meal preparation efficiently.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with parents and children.
- A nurturing attitude with a strong sense of responsibility towards child safety and well-being.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
