**Position Overview (including Key Contacts)**

Under the supervision of the Site Head Operations; the Communications Intern is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of internal and site-specific communications.

**Key Contacts**
- Reports to, Site Head Operations and works very closely with the Siemens Healthineers central Communications team.
- Regular interaction with all departments and groups within Epocal as well as external clients and vendors

**What will you do?**
- Help manages the creation and implementation of internal strategic communications programs and activities to help foster employee engagement
- Assists in the development and execution of integrated communications activities using internal communication platforms - key messages, presentations, site newsletters and updates
- Uses innovative channels and formats to bring corporate storytelling to life with an ability to write, pitch and package stories for traditional and digital consumption
- Proactively looks for strategic ways to improve communication mediums at both site locations
- Responsible for assisting with various special projects, meetings, activities, or events that shall be undertaken by the Ottawa site from time to time, and in doing so, collaborates with colleagues/departments as required.
