Nikiforuk Construction is looking to hire motivated individuals to add to our team. At Nikiforuk we have a focus on safety and take pride in our work. We have successfully operated within the water and sewer construction industry for 57 years, completing various projects to a very high standard.

We are preparing for a busy season, with projects in Beaumont, St Albert, Leduc, Pembina Industrial and other towns in the Edmonton area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading/unloading and transportation of heavy equipment.
- Haul aggregate, site material, pipe etc.
- Ensure loads are secured using chains, straps, tarps as required.
- Complete vehicle pre trip inspection and log book.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of vehicle as required.
- Opportunity to work on site as needed (equipment operating, labour etc.)
- Working with other crew members respectfully.

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 1 drivers license and current 5 year commercial drivers abstract
- Physically able to work long hours
- Experience hauling heavy equipment

**Additional Assets**:

- Experience hauling aggregate with tandem truck and pup
- Water and sewer construction experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends Off
- 12-14 Hour Day

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 - 75 per week
