**Job Title: Cleaning Staff Member**

**Location: Calnash Ag Event Centre**

**Job Type: Part-Time/Casual with Weekend and Evening Hours**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and washing surfaces in various event spaces, offices, and public areas.
- Address and manage dusty environments, particularly in areas frequently used for agricultural or large-scale events.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well maintained.
- Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture and disposing of waste post-event.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used correctly and kept in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management immediately.
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests and assist them with directions or general inquiries.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to manage workload and cover all necessary cleaning tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
- Proven experience in cleaning or a similar role; familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards in a potentially dusty environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a strong sense of team spirit.
