As a General Manager, you will be part of the JAK's leadership team. You will plan, organize and direct the retail operations of your store. You will be in charge of scheduling, hiring, coaching, performance management, coordinating shift activities, fostering positive relationships among the team and mediating in situations where a customer has a request or complaint.

- Wine Knowledge of WSET 2 or WSET 3 is considered an asset*

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure JAK'S brand promises are consistently delivered: Unique product selection, outstanding service, unmatched in-store experience.
- Facilitate a fun work environment by bringing a fun energy to work to energize the team and inspire others to do the same.
- Assist in leading and managing a team of customer service/sales specialists
- Develop successful people by providing training, mentoring and coaching to the team.
- Ensure all JAK'S standards are met and exceeded, resulting in an outstanding retail experience.
- Participate in the hiring process by collaborating with the store manager and/or the Director of Human Performance on new hires
- Communicate and achieve budgeted key performance indicators within the team for your store
- Create and implement customer-focused business strategies
- Participate in the performance management proces
