IT Support

**Summary**

We're looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in IT support who genuinely enjoys helping people just as much as they enjoy working with tech. You should be someone who gets a real kick out of solving problems, learning new things, and staying up to date with all things IT. If you're the type who friends and family call when their Wi-Fi goes down, and you secretly love it, you’ll fit right in. You'll be supporting clients with a variety of issues, from Microsoft 365 to networks and everything in between. We want someone who’s not only technically strong, but also friendly, approachable, and ready to jump in and make things work.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve service tickets in accordance with SLAs
- Resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, and networking
- Support and manage Active Directory
- Implement and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
- Handle Microsoft Outlook issues and understand Exchange, IMAP, and POP3
- Install and configure security appliances and UTM firewalls
- Diagnose network connectivity and performance issues
- Accurately document work performed, systems maintained, and time spent on service requests
- Occasionally assist with general IT and business tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support (technician level)
- IT diploma or higher from a recognized two-year program
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must live within 65 km of Welland
- Will be required to participate in rotating on-call weekend support
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills to manage ticket queues and keep documentation updated
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues professionally
- Self-motivated and capable of working with mínimal supervision

- Active Directory configuration and maintenance
- Microsoft Exchange and Outlook administration
- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Teams
- VoIP systems and PBX setup
- Network troubleshooting and UTM/Firewall management
- Computer hardware diagnostics and repair
- Remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
- PowerShell scripting
- Relevant industry certifications are an asset

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
