We are looking to add a **Bilingual Project Manager** to our growing team in **Quebec**. The role of the Bilingual Project Manager at ComTech Energy is to plan, execute, and finalize large equipment installation construction projects according to strict deadlines, specifications and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to complete projects to plan. The Bilingual Project Manager will also maintain the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and understand project plans and job requirements for equipment, materials, and installation.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Oversee permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Identify and resolve any issues and conflicts related to the project.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Communicates and maintains a positive attitude with customers, contractors’ suppliers and employees.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company health and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications
- Project Management certification an asset - PMP or equivalent.
- University or college degree in applicable field an asset.
- _3-5_ years’ experience as a Project Manager in Construction - Civil, Electrical, Mechanical.
- Construction experience in chemical process or petrochemical, gas process industries is a requirement
- Experience in large equipment installation.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles and processes.
- Knowledge in H&S Construction site requirements.
- Knowledge in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Piping or ASME.
- Strong ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and construction documentation including P&ID.
- Proven Leadership skills.
- Cost and risk management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills - both in English and French
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Capacity to manage high stress situations.
- Ability to delegate effectively.
