Due to our strong global growth & recent private equity investment, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on and highly collaborative VP of Finance to oversee all of Gatekeeper’s financial operations, providing strategic support across areas from accounting and departmental budgets, to banking operations, cash flow and risk management.
- Note: This is a fully remote position, open to applicants based in Canada, in the EST time zone._

**In this role, you will**:

- Drive Strategic Financial Leadership - Shape Gatekeeper’s financial strategy, focusing on long-term planning, investment decisions, and capital structure optimisation to support the company's growth and sustainability.
- Own the company’s management and statutory accounts and be responsible for introducing robust processes and frameworks.
- Lead financial analysis and share the output with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and individuals responsible for:

- Reconciliation
- Renewal management
- Revenue collection
- Payroll
- Revenue recognition
- Collections & Aged Debt
- Cash flow management
- Budget & forecasting
- Manage the relationship with the current outsourced provider of accounting services, overseeing the scope and quality of the output.
- Work as needed directly with our investors to deliver on the appropriate financial reporting requirements.
- Build an in-house Finance team, as required, that will support the business as we scale.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting data.
- Oversee audit and financial risk management.
- Introduce and oversee innovative financial processes using advanced technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for short and long-term growth plans.
- Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators that align with Gatekeeper's strategic goals and objectives.

**Requirements**:
You must be:

- An experienced Financial leader, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including experience in scaling SaaS companies.
- Fluent in SaaS financials and metrics.
- Experienced in working with Private Equity partners.
- Familiar with international company structures, including the US and UK.
- Able to drive strategy but maintain a ‘hands-on’ approach.
- A natural team player and lifetime learner.
- Proactive in seeking solutions and implementing change.
- Someone who loves solving complex problems.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
- An excellent communicator, spoken and written.
- Able to work with an agile, highly distributed team.
- Have a sense of humour and lust for life.
