Project Coordinator

The Program Management Office Coordinator will be supporting the Project Manager(s) in the drafting, coordination, and submission of numerous PMO related presentations and reports. The PMO Coordinator will also assist the Assistant Project Manager(s) in administering and carrying out other program related projects.
**Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.**
**What you’ll do**
- Assists the Project Manager(s) and Assistant Project Manager(s) in the coordination and execution of assigned project activities and deliverables.
- Works together with VSY departments including, but not limited to, estimating, contracts, planning, engineering, supply chain, production, testing and risk management to ensure the project delivers on expectations.
- Coordinates and helps collate program metrics to measure departmental, supplier and contractor program performance.
- Coordinates the production of weekly and monthly program reports and presentations that highlight project status and project performance against established goals and objectives.
- Works with project manager(s) and assistant manager(s) to draft, prepare and submit program related proposals.
- Creates and manages MS SharePoint based activity lists (e.g. action item list, lessons learned register etc.).
- Updates and keeps activity lists up-to date by communicating with related stakeholders.
- Tracks and manages program travel requests and communicates it with related parties.
- Works with departmental representatives, suppliers, contractors and team members in resolving outstanding program issues.
- Records departmental commitments identified during project meetings. Establishes due dates for commitments with the Project Manager(s). Works closely with and supports project personnel.
**What you’ll bring**
- A diploma in Business Administration or related field.
- 2-3 years proven ability preparing electronic documents in a project/program office environment.
- Previous experience with SharePoint would be an asset.
- Leading document control and configuration management would be beneficial.
