**Position Summary**:
This course examines operations techniques to support a proactive approach to good corporate citizenship in environmental performance. Topics will cover product-lifecycle analysis, overview of regulations (provincial, federal, global), resource management, risk analysis, integrated waste management, pollution prevention planning and implementation, Total Quality Environmental Management (TQEM), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO 14000.

**Qualifications - Required**: Master’s or PhD degree.

**Qualifications - Discipline**: Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field

**Qualifications - Areas of Specialization**: Environmental/Sustainability Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Logistics, Supply Chain Management. Expertise in these areas can come through work experience (e.g., in job positions focused on environmentally sustainable operations), academic/professional study, or research conducted.

**Qualifications - Professional Designation**: It would be an asset to have any of the following professional designations: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from the Association for Supply Chain Management; SCMP from Supply Chain Canada; SCPro from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals; Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM); and the P.Log from the Professional Logistics Institute.

**Salary**: $9,206.40
