We are looking for a Kinesiologist to join our dynamic, fun, and cohesive team on a contract basis.

As a Kinesiologist with LiNK Rehab you will:

- Provide graded home activation exercises and/or community-based gym/aquatics exercise programs to adults with a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health challenges, sustained secondary to injury (e.g. workplace injury, MVA) to maximize their abilities and facilitate achievement of OT functional goals.
- Develop a specific, structured, graduated return to work plans secondary to injury workplace injury (training to be provided).
- Provide functional direction to family members and care providers, report relevant observations of client's functioning using electronic charting.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
- Experience with GRTW planning and/or jobsite visit experience is an asset.
- Valid BC Drivers License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which travel time will be reimbursed.
- Preference for an individual with a personal laptop or tablet for charting purposes (otherwise a rental/reimbursement program can be discussed).

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**:

- Knowledge and/or experience in evidence based orthopaedic/musculoskeletal practice with a strong emphasis on active rehabilitation.
- Knowledge in the areas of education and functional assessments is a pre-requisite with research and ergonomics being an asset.
- Aptitude and interest to demonstrate and coach a repertoire of pain management techniques (e.g. breathing, grounding, stretching) for clients who are preparing for a Graduated Return To Work and/or and exercise based / return to function based program (either at home or in a gym).
- Ability to adapt interventions to ensure Covid-19 safety precautions are met (e.g. facilitating activities outdoors or with physical distancing).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 6 - 40 per week
