Our team is our family. Join us as we serve the community together. We are seeking the right person to join our in-house baking team. Baking experience and knowledge of bakery principles is required to be successful in this position. You will be very productive and everyone will love eating everything you make Products and recipes are made from scratch. Real ingredients. No cheating. No instant batter or mixes. Items to bake: Muffins, more muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, banana loaf, other loaves, cookies, squares, cakes, pies, seasonal desserts and treats. The items are sold from our busy cafe and packaged for retail off the shelf. You will be responsible for your own work space as well as communicating and delegating an assistant part-time baker. **Responsibilities**: - work alongside our Head Baker - maintain product inventory - consistent results - organization - new ideas and seasonal features - Mix ingredients according to recipe. - Use precise measurements. - Know how to handle large volumes of dough. - Carry and lift up heavy objects (such as 50-pound bags of flour). Shift descriptions - 5 days per week, must be available Saturdays, shift times range between 6am - 6:30pm, Closed Sundays Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - Store discount **Experience**: - Baking: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-08-05
