We’re currently looking to fill an opening for a DZ delivery driver for the 2025 season beginning in April. You'll work alongside our operations, sales, agronomy, and administrative staff, while playing a key role in ensuring local farmers have their crop inputs for their planting, side dressing, and harvest season.

**Job Duties**
- Efficiently and effectively work with the sales and administrative staff regarding picking, packing, and preparing deliveries of chemical, fertilizer, and seed
- Transport custom blended fertilizers, chemicals, seed, and various equipment and ensure all associated documentation, including bill of ladings and shipping tickets are accurate and completed according to schedule
- Maintain and manage inventory records to ensure the proper receiving and shipping of product
- Potential need to drive and operate plant equipment and machinery such as front-end loader, forklift, and delivery vehicles. Operate all equipment in accordance with established safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques
- Perform daily safety checks on assigned vehicles and equipment such as delivery trucks, loaders, and forklifts
- Ensure the overall appearance and housekeeping standards of the premises is maintained in a professional and organized manner
- Work alongside other operations team members to accomplish daily and weekly goals
- Safely perform day to day functions and tasks

**Requirements**:

- Valid DZ or higher driver’s license with a safe driver abstract
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and record keeping
- Capacity to troubleshoot problems as they arise
- May be required to work extended hours during peak spring season
- Experience using a truck mounted fertilizer auger an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual, with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain a variety of certificates or permits such as forklift, WHMIS or TDG
- Dependable with a high attention to detail
- Occasionally exposed to or required to work in some inclement weather (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Knowledge of Haldimand-Norfolk and surrounding area an asset

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
