**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in the kitchen.
