Under the responsibility of the site director, the balance and transport clerk plays an essential role in the functioning of the department. He supports his group in administrative, planning, transportation and customer service areas.
- Perform the opening and closing of daily activities;
- Greet customers with courtesy by following our procedures and requirements;
- Direct customers to the site;
- Answer phone calls and redirect them as needed;
- Inform customers of the current metal prices;
- Weigh the material;
- Make delivery notes in the RECY software;
- Pay customers;
- Prepare shipping papers;
- Ensure the tracking of shipments of materials;
- Balance the cash register at the end of the day;
- Communicate relevant information with the recipient;
- Take care of truck distribution;
- Perform reports;
- Perform other related duties;
**Qualifications**
One year of experience in customer service;
Experience in the transportation field (an asset);
Good knowledge of Excel.

Good knowledge of software, computer systems;
Good at mental arithmetic.
**Additional Information** Daytime work schedule Monday to Friday (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)**
**Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours;**
