**Summary**

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for day-to-day warehousing duties.

**Responsibilities**
- Picking and packing, preparing orders daily.
- Receiving and sorting buy-out materials.
- Loading and unloading freight and materials as instructed.
- Safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory receiving and shelf restocking.
- Assist with physical inventory counts.
- Follow and support all Precision Drilling policies and procedures.
- General warehouse maintenance such as cleaning and organization.
- Periodic pick-up and delivery of materials and products.
- Assisting in identifying workplace hazards.
- Participate in all safety meeting.
- Maintaining a clean driving record.
- Work overtime hours when required.
- Various other duties as required.

**Knowledge & Skills**

Maintain professional relationship with other warehouse and office team members.

Follow and uphold Precision Drillings policies and procedures.

Maintaining a clean driving record.

Be fit for duty fit for task.

Must be able to communicate in English, both orally and written.

Strong material handling skills, including fork-lift operation.

Able to follow instruction.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work well in a team atmosphere.

Basic computer skills.

**Experience**

Strong material handling skills including fork-lift operation.

Prior warehousing experience an asset.
