We're currently on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated full-time Childcare Worker to provide invaluable support to a Foster Home.

In this dynamic role, you'll engage in a variety of tasks aimed at nurturing and guiding children in care, both within and outside the home environment. Your flexibility and adaptability will be key as you navigate the ever-changing demands of the role, ensuring the well-being and development of the children you work with.

**Position Details**:

- ** Job Type**: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
- ** Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized support to the child or youth
- Foster positive behavior and self-respect through role modeling and guidance
- Organize and participate in recreational and developmental activities, both indoors and outdoors
- Encourage participation and decision-making from the child or youth in planning activities
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community service providers
- Support emotional and social development of children and youth

**Qualifications**:

- ECE or Youth Care Worker certification required
- Experience in childcare/early childhood development preferred, especially with diverse challenges
- Commitment to a healthy lifestyle
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Valid driver’s license and recent Criminal Records Check

**Salary**: Starting at $17 - $18.00 per hour
