IT Business Partner

Alberta Innovates (AI) is seeking an IT Business Partner to support the team and organization with project and program implementation. The successful incumbent will be working directly with client groups and vendors while engaging with IT team members to support the organization and executing the achievement of the IT team’s goals.

Job Details
Reporting to the Manager, Business Solutions the IT Business Partner will play an integral role in the IT department to design and implement services and technologies that are valuable to our stakeholders. The successful incumbent will be accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
**Full cycle project management including**:
Developing business cases and proposals
Defining requirements including; budget, resources and scheduling
Identifying, communicating and mitigating risks
Tracking and reporting
Effectively managing project teams
Successful execution of projects on time and within budget
Encouraging and supporting the adoption of digital processes and technologies
Collaborating and negotiating with organizational leaders and stakeholders
Documenting system requirements and business processes in a clear manner
