**Overview**

n biomachines (formerly The Cultivated B Canada) is a highly innovative and science-driven biotechnology and bioengineering company from Germany, focusing on developing and manufacturing high-precision systems for cellular agriculture and pharmaceutical industry.

Our facility in Burlington, ON, is focused on the development and production of bioreactors, photobioreactors and advanced machineries for cellular agriculture and precision fermentation. Our integrated R&D center within the same facility is an Ontario hub for innovation in bioprocess design and optimization, plant-based engineering, food technology and scaled alternative protein production.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical and sub-assembly components onto pan, into enclosures, structures etc. by following standard layouts
- Wire complete panels per drawings including back panels and wiring between devices/ components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics to build, install, and test various electrical circuits, panels, and assemblies
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Wire equipment with proper voltage level, current level and industry standard colour code per provided drawings
- Organize circuitry within panels for proper voltage level separations
- Mount electrical components including circuit breakers, switches, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, PLC and all other related electrical devices.
- Perform fabrication functions on enclosures such as; drilling, screwing, sealing, and stamping.
- Use wire termination and component layout tools including but not limited to strippers, wire cutters, wire crimpers, screwdrivers, tee square, machinist square, tape measure, wrenches and pliers.
- Adopt and practice good housekeeping and 5S principles.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of control panel wiring preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Experience installing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components
- Working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work quickly with your hands while maintaining accuracy and high quality
- Strong work ethic and motivation to learn
- Must be a team player
