**Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and special offerings.
- Address any issues that arise during service promptly to minimize disruption.
**Skills**
- Strong team management abilities to effectively lead and motivate kitchen staff.
- Proficiency in supervising food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food service operations, including inventory management and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- A passion for cooking with an understanding of various culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
This role is essential for maintaining the high standards expected in our kitchen, ensuring that both staff and guests have an exceptional experience.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
