**ROLE**: Personal Lines Broker

**STATUS**: Full Time / Permanent

**JOB INTRODUCTION**:
**LOCATION**:
Hybrid work from home environment, time required in the office in Uxbridge, ON.

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**:

- Manage all aspect of an existing book of Personal Lines business.
- Collaborate with clients in providing insurance solutions to meet their unique needs on an on-going basis.
- Maintain customer service standards, including prompt responses to customer inquiries both verbally and written.
- Provide superior claims support for clients, insuring clients are supported and all processes are followed.
- Ensure all customer data is entered and maintained in JCIB’s client management system (EPIC) in an accurate and timely manner, including processing policy changes, new business and cancellations.
- Work with clients to effectively renew policies in a timely manner, while ensuring coverage continues to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with insurance company partners in providing insurance solutions.
- Maintain underwriting guidelines and understanding products offered by insurance company partners.
- Ensure all account receivables remain up-to-date.
- Identify opportunities to introduce other departments, such as Commercial Lines and Benefits to provide solutions for clients.
- Identify new business opportunities with new and pre-existing clients.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines.
- RIBO Licence required
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills in both written and verbal.
- Ability to work within a Team environment with drive toward collaboration and relationship building.
- Superior client service orientation, including ability to meet service standards.
- Experience with client management system, EPIC a valuable asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
