Maintenance Supervisor
**Location**: Lethbridge Division Office
**Anticipated Start Date**: October 31, 2024
**FTE**: 1.0

**Responsibilities**:
Support the Facility Services Supervisor to ensure that the Division’s school, non-school and leased building structures, operations, maintenance, custodial, grounds, construction and monitoring systems are in reliable, efficient, safe and secure condition;
Work in a school environment understanding working around staff and students safely.
Coordinate of sub-trades and maintenance orders at various locations
Oversee the maintenance work at multiple sites and locations
Assist in the coordination of the delivery of services and ensuring that legislative requirements, including Occupational Health and Safety within the Plant Operations and Maintenance portfolio
Coordinate the maintenance requirements of schools and associated facilities and grounds;
Assist in the budget preparation, reporting, control and monitoring experience required;
Under the direction of the Facilities Services Supervisor, create a priority plan for facilities;
Be responsible for all matters related to summer staff personnel management;
Be responsible for all matters related to custodial services of schools including personnel and contractors.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
Post-secondary training in a related field - journeyman tradesperson (preferable journeyman carpenter), engineering, etc.
Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
Successful Criminal Reference Check, including vulnerable sectors (within 3 months of contract start date).
**Skills and Competencies**:
Knowledge of buildings including structure, mechanical and electrical
Leader with ability to share information in an open and collaborative manner;
Must be able to work independently and perform duties with mínimal supervision
Skilled communicator with well-developed listening, oral and written communication skills;
Effective facilitation, conflict management and problem-solving skills;
Excellent planning and organizational skills;
Skilled in analyzing financial and technical data;
Project management skills;
Strong negotiation skills;
Effective management skills including personnel;
3 - 5 years of property management and/or project management experience;
Proven ability to work with computers in the area of document creation, spreadsheets, and asset management software, i.e. FAME, BLIMS, etc.;
Valid class 5 driver’s license.

Social Insurance Number (SIN) card or document issued by Service Canada; SIN card/document must be in current legal name.Name on SIN card/document must match your Government Issued ID and Criminal Record Check;
Government issued ID - valid driver's license.
