**WORK HOURS**: Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
- Assist in preparation of financial information (forecasts, budget, and strategic plans)
- Presentation of financial budgets, forecasts, and plans to senior management
- Assist in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of budgets and forecasts
- Assist in development of financial models and analyses to support management on any business decision making (i.e., purchase decision, pricing strategy, Capex decisions etc.).
- Under the guidance of the Vice President of Finance and Financial Planning Analyst, this role will help develop and/or maintain processes and procedure documentation where necessary.
- Performs additional ad-hoc analysis and other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Assets**
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or Business/Commerce degree or equivalent; with preference given to those with relevant further study/designations (CPA/CMA).
- Must be proficient and advanced in Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to handle large data sets
- Demonstrate critical thinking
- Ability to produce various analyses and tables, as well as develop charts/graphs in both Excel and PowerPoint.
- Desire to learn and be involved in a variety of ad-hoc projects and changing reporting needs.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines with high levels of accountability and integrity
- 1-3 years’ experience in a financial analyst capacity or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and attentive to details
