Position Summary: Estimate projects and installations and ensure completeness of job.

**Duties**:

- Develop relationships with SAY clients and offer solutions to their project needs.
- Design and build estimates to satisfy the needs of the customer with the correct scope and budget.
- Ensure completeness of all estimates to guarantee seamless execution of all projects.
- Estimating involves but is not limited to compiling material take offs, material pricing, labour and equipment costs and subcontractor pricing
- Work with local municipality in acquiring applicable building permits and filing required MOL notifications for projects when required.
- Become the main point of contact for all subcontractors, SAY staff and clientele on each job.
- Prepare and compile bid documents for submittal to potential Contractors including, project schedule, safety requirements, general scope of work, construction drawings etc.
- Hold bid meetings and job site visits with Contractors and explain project details and requirements. Ensure kickoff meetings occur for production staff comprehension.
- Work with planner and production supervisor for scheduling of staff, coordination of equipment and securing materials.
- Monitor and track field progress, inspect work quality and safety performance, intervening as necessary.
- Manage Change Orders
- Assist with project costing and tracking
- Review and ensure accuracy of all invoicing, assist with timeliness of invoicing.
- Ensure all project inspections, testing and commission activities are done per specifications.
- Complete final project inspection and create punch list of remaining work to be done.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of Construction or Landscape management experience.
- Exhibits excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient use of various forms of technology.
- Adept at problem solving.
- Clean acceptable drivers abstract and G drivers’ license.
- A Construction Management diploma / degree is an asset
- Familiarity with and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
