**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive Class 1 trucks (including B-trains) to transport goods safely across Alberta.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight as needed using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, vehicle condition, and cargo.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and other team members regarding routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all transportation laws and company policies.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance when necessary to ensure road readiness.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Class 1 Driver’s License**:

- **Minimum 3 years’ experience with B-train trailers**:

- Clean 3 year **Commercial** driver’s abstract
- Strong understanding of Alberta roads and transportation regulations
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Familiarity with Chip haul/loading/unloading/tarpping trailers is an asset

Pay: From $30.05 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 14 per week
