**Description**

As a Merchandising Lead Hand, you are responsible for supporting the retail liquor stores with maximizing the store's selling potential by effectively training and supervising the stock team and sales associates with back-of-house merchandise handling processes. The lead hand assists the store manager's team in ensuring the stockroom standards are operating and executed and the store achieves its brand standards.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Proper and accutare receipt of warehouse suplied inventory
- Checking the order against the invoice/packing slip
- Lead and modivate merchandising associated to achieve goals
- Schedule hours of work for merchandising associates
- Train merchandising associated
- Work with urgency to ensure timely processing of orders
- Communicate with warehouse and retail management regarding progress, concerns, discrepancies, damages,
- Present ideas for improvement
- Inventory cycle counting in the retail environment
- Payroll tracking and approvals
- Provide reporting as necessary (example: daily receipt escrepancies)
- Hiring and team building
- Driving company van, collect materials from retail and return to warehouse (example: shipping pallets)
- Assist in the warehouse when time permits
- Work in a collaborative, professional and courteous manner
- Show up for shifts on time and ready to work

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available for Shifts 5:00am to 1:30pm
- Forklift Certification considered an asset
- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks with an attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability lead others
- Previous merchandising/retail experience would be considered an asset

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
