**Rockhaven Homes Limited constructs custom homes and larger additions in the Halton / Georgetown / Orangeville / Guelph / Caledon area. We are a customer-oriented, quality and schedule-driven company looking to hire an individual with some construction experience.**

The individual would be reliable, self-motivated and industrious.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**1. Skilled Labour**

a. Back-framing

b. Misc. trim, timber and fireplace mantle install

c. Deck/exterior structure framing as required

d. Demolition

e. Concrete forming

f. Proper window installation - flashing and foaming

g. Exterior stairs and railings

**2. General Labour**

a. General clean-up and site organization as required

b. Load/unload/transport construction materials

c. Shop organization

**Secondary Responsibilities**

**1. Site Coordination**

a. Assist the Site Supervisor/Project Manager/Subtrades as required

b. Site and Safety inspections

c. Material take-offs

d. Day to day scheduling

**Working conditions**:

- Constructions sites where conditions include noise, dust, mud, heights and inclement weather
- Must be physically capable of heavy lifting, up to. 80lbs

**General Requirements**:

- Hand Tools: hammer, chalk line, tape measure, speed square, utility knife, pouch
- Safety boots, hard hat and PPE
- Ability to get to and from work site and office.
- Driver’s License, clean driver abstract

**Remuneration**:Based on experience, abilities and knowledge. Pay range is approximately $18 - 25 per hour

**Schedule**:

- 8.5 hour shift
- Overtime, 1.5 times hourly rate, at managers approval

**Experience**:
Carpentry - 1 year preferred

Job layout and carpentry experience is considered an asset
