**Responsibility**:

- Required to supervise a crew of labourers to perform a variety of work in landscape maintenance.
- Efficiently perform and manage quality, productivity and safe execution of job as planned.
- Submit required paperwork, route sheets (LMN)
- Communicate professionally to customer, lead hand and team.
- Onboard new staff, train to safety standards, and assist with ongoing performance reviews.

**Result**:

- Quality landscape work is efficiently completed with client satisfaction and crew safety.

**Qualifications/Expectations**:

- Horticultural certification or comparable designation
- Valid and clean G licence
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Positive team player, hard and fast worker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete tasks with enthusiasm and a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to enforce safety and recognize unsafe work conditions.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
- Cost awareness, efficient use of time, materials, and equipment.
- Efficiently directs crew and manages time.
- High quality of work
- Communicates well with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas.
- Effective communication skills written and verbal.
- Performance driven, attention to detail.
- Excellent stamina
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise & cold.
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work.

This position requires manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, good balance, responsibility and dependability, ethics and integrity and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Activities may include extended periods of standing and walking.
