Rideau Optometric is a busy, high-end optometric and contact lens clinic. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to join our team in the CF Rideau Centre.

Initial duties would include optometric technician training with reception and office tasks to follow.
- Paid training would begin immediately.
- Flexible availability is advantageous.
- Previous customer service experience and bilingualism are assets, but not required.
- Competitive compensation.
- Part-time available (40 hours)

In the role of Optometric Technician / Receptionist, you will be integral to delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring smooth operations. Reporting to the office manager, you will assist patients and optometrists effectively. Previous experience in customer service, fast-paced environments and office settings will enhance patient interactions and support the overall efficiency of the practice. **Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain electronic medical records efficiently.
- Provide patient care by preparing examination rooms and assisting with procedures.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Address customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance patient satisfaction.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
